ARTISIT STATEMENT
Coming from an agricultural background where machines and animals collide I am fascinated by the hybridization that occurs in the organisation of our modern consumer world. Scientific advances into new ways of engineering and growing meat and crops form a Pandora's box for the imagination. From the seed banks, laboratories, farms and factories, the resultant production line sheds a light on the hidden processes of our daily consumption. From invitro meat to hydroponics, the metamorphosis of animal, human and machine conjures up an alien world.
